  ERNEST W. BEITZEL
  
    Ernest Walter Beitzel, 82, of Grantsville RD 1, Md., died Sept. 6, 1981,
  in Frostburg Community Hospital, Md.
    He was born in Accident, Md. and was the son of the late Christian C. and
  Susan (Bowman) Beitzel.  Twice married, he was preceded in death by his
  first wife, Etta (Hare) Beitzel.  He is survived by his widow, Minta (Resh)
  Schaefer Beitzel.
    He was a retired shipping clerk for the Ohio Match Company, Wadsworth. 
  He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Grantsville, and the Woodmen of
  the World.
    Surviving, besides his widow, are four sons, Leroy Beitzel and Luther
  Beitzel, both of Wadsworth; Wayne Beitzel, Downey, Calif., and Bruce
  Beitzel, Villa Park, Calif.; four daughters, Mrs. Pauline Nee and Mrs.
  Maxine Erbse, both of Wadsworth; and Mrs. Darlene Mathews and Miss Kathleen
  Beitzel, both of Cleveland, Ohio; two stepsons, Mark Schaefer, Savannah,
  Ga., and Cecil Schaefer, Denver, Colo., a stepdaughter, Mrs. Audrey
  Kinsinger, Grantsville; 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
    Arrangements were in charge of the Hilliard-Cox-Mullaney Funeral Home,
  174 North Lyman Street, Wadsworth.  Interment, Woodlawn Cemetery.
