  HAROLD A. BEITZEL
  
    Harold A. Beitzel, 65, died October 23, 1983 at his home in Edgewater.
    A native and former resident of Grantsville, Maryland, he was a son of
  the late Henry Beitzel and Cynthia (Snyder) Beitzel.
    He was a graduate of Grantsville High School and served in the Army in
  World War II.  He was a former street car operator in Washington D.C., and
  prior to his retirement was employed as a guard at the District Jail in
  Washington.  He attended the Edgewater Baptist Church.
    Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Lottie (Efaw) Beitzel; one son, Wayne
  Beitzel, Edgewater; a daughter, Mrs. Debbie Maxon, Mount Morris; three
  brothers, Curtis Beitzel and William Beitzel, both of Grantsville; Ellis
  Beitzel, Salisbury; six sisters, Mrs. Violet Higgins, Frostburg, Maryland;
  Mrs. Beulah Resh, Grantsville; Mrs. Melda Harris, Edgewater; Mrs. Trellis
  Rassier, Albany, N.Y.; Mrs. Alice Bittinger, Akron, Ohio; Mrs. Hollie
  Fazenbaker, Westernport, and four grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Behm Funeral Home, Jefferson, where services
  were conducted Thursday.
