MARY BEITZEL
Grantsville, Maryland

  Mrs. Mary Beitzel, wife of the late Henry Beitzel, died at the home of her 
daughter, Mrs. John Klotz, near Bittinger, early Sunday morning, from 
infirmities of age.  She was the daughter of Elizabeth and Peter Shumaker, and 
was born near Salisbury, Pa., 87 years ago.  She is survived by three daughters 
and two sons, Mrs. John Klotz, Mrs. Christ Orendorf, Mrs. Daniel Klotz, George 
and Henry Beitzel; 40 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, and one sister, 
Mrs. Maggie Sell of Salisbury, Pa.  The funeral was held at the English Lutheran 
Church at Accident, on Tuesday afternoon, Rev. A. W. Amick and Rev. E. E. 
Campbell officiated; interment in church cemetery.
