  PLAYFORD O. BEITZEL
  
    Playford O. Beitzel, 55, formerly of Accident, Md., died January 22, 1980
  in Berryville, Va.
    He was born in Accident, Md., Aug. 24, 1924, and was a son of Leah M.
  (Opal) Beitzel, Accident, Md., and the late Jacob Beitzel.
    He was a carpenter.
    Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his widow, Martha L. (Peck)
  Beitzel; one son, Donald P. Beitzel, Fairfax, Va.; five sisters, Mrs. Mae
  Caruthers, Grantsville, Md.; Mrs. Iva Hostetler, Hartville, Ohio; Mrs.
  Evelyn Shaffer and Mrs. Marian Fread, both of Canton, Ohio; Mrs. Mildred
  Cline, Accident; three brothers, C.O. (Jack) Beitzel, Deep Creek Lake, Md.;
  Herter Beitzel, Canton, Ohio; Paul Beitzel, Oakland, Md., and two
  grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Stewart Funeral Home, Oakland, Md.
    A graveside service was conducted in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery,
  Accident, with the Rev. William Carlson officiating.
