  VERDA H. BEITZEL
  
    Verda H. Beitzel, 72, of Accident RD 1, Md., died Sunday, Dec. 8, 1985,
  at Garrett County Memorial Hospital, Oakland, Md.
    Born April 20, 1913, in Grantsville, Md., she was the daughter of the
  late Harvey S. Yoder and Anna (Miller) Yoder.  Her husband, Elmer T.
  Beitzel, also preceded her in death.
    She was a member of the Cherry Glade Mennonite Church.
    She is survived by a son, Byard Beitzel, Accident; four daughters, Mrs.
  Eva Yoder, Mrs. Lola Beiler, Miss Marian Beitzel, all of Accident, Md.; and
  Mrs. Esther Yoder, Grantsville, Md.; two brothers, Claude Yoder, LaVale and
  Alvin Yoder, Grantsville; five sisters, Mrs. Beulah Bender, Mrs. Thelma
  Beitzel, Mrs. Viola Yoder, all of Grantsville; Mrs. Elva Bender, Bittinger,
  and Mrs. Glenola Miller, Amelia, Va., and 11 grandchildren.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home, Grantsville.
    Services were conducted Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Cherry Glade
  Mennonite Church.  The Rev. Oren Bender and the Rev. Elmer Maust
  officiating.  Interment, Cherry Glade Cemetery.
