  BELL
  
    Mary Bell, 78, of Somerset, died Oct. 19, 1999, at her residence.  Born
  July 3, 1921, in Somerset Twp., she is the daughter of the late William and
  Florence (Dayton) Tirko.  Also preceded in death by husband, Ernest Bell;
  daughters:  Betty Bell and Faith Bell; brothers, William Tirko Jr., John
  Tirko, Pete Tirko, George Tirko, and Charles Tirko; sisters:  Aimeda
  Shaffer, Ida May Romesberg and Kate Mickey.  Survived by children: Mrs.
  Robert (Frieda) Suter, Mrs. John (Shirley) Peck; Mrs. Terry (Marlene)
  Benedict and Mrs. Ross (Linda) Miller all of Somerset; grandchildren,
  Donald Fogle, Jeff Alwine, Michelle Peck, Jennifer Alwine, Valerie Suter,
  Andrew and David Miller; also 6 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Ann Shaffer
  of Somerset, Julia Sells of Central City, Ella May Rubis of Somerset, Sally
  Reese of New Centerville, Elizabeth Derencin of Somerset, Joseph Tirko of
  Friedens, Mildred Landsman, Shirley Drake, David Tirko, all of Somerset. 
  Member of Somerset Church of the Nazarene and Nazarene World Mission
  Society.  Friends received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday in the Robert H.
  Halverson Funeral Home.  Services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the
  Somerset Church of the Nazarene with Rev. Byron Conner officiating.
  Interment in the Casebeer Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to the
  Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Suite 111, Somerset, PA,
  15501.  There will be viewing at the church from 12 noon until time of
  services.
