  BELL
  
    LaVerna Mae Bell, 86, of Somerset formerly of Bakersville died June 20,
  2000 at Somerset Patriot Manor, Somerset.  Born July 16, 1913 in
  Northampton Township.  Daughter of Simon and Mary (Hutzell) Martz. 
  Preceded in death by parents, husband Ernest William Bell who died Sept.
  27, 1986; brothers George and Cyrus Martz, sister, Sadie Corley, and niece
  Hilda Bell.  Survived by foster-daughter, Mrs. Patricia Conrad of Somerset;
  great nephew Eldon Bell of Markleton; granddaughter, Mrs. James (Melanie)
  Farley of Somerset and great-grandchildren Jill and Joshua Farley.  Member
  of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, Bakersville.  Friends will be received 7 to 9
  p.m. Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home were services will be
  conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Randall W. Bain officiating. 
  Interment, Bakersville Cemetery.
