  ANNIE R. BENDER
  
    Mrs. Annie R. Bender, 85, of Springs, died Sunday at Meyersdale Community
  Hospital.
    A native of Elk Lick Township, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Simon
  S. and Lydia (Beachy) Miller.  Her husband, Olen R. Bender, died in 1957. 
  She was a member of the Springs Mennonite Church.
    She is survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. 
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home.
    Services were conducted, Wednesday at the funeral home by the Rev. John
  Kraybill and the Rev. Walter Otto.  Interment was in Springs Cemetery.
