  MRS. JOHN BENDER
  
    Mrs. Edythe Mae Bender, 79, of Berlin, died at her home at 302 Diamond
  St., March 9, 1973.  Born in West Salisbury, she was the daughter of
  Abraham and Margaret (Burkett) Musser.  She was preceded in death by her
  husband, John Bender, in 1955, and by two daughters.
    Surviving are these children: Maynard, of Berlin; Mrs. Lester (Eleanor)
  Bittner of Berlin; Mrs. Irene Tressler, Boynton; Mrs. Genevieve Kovacik of
  Donora; and John R. of Berlin RD 4; 12 grandchildren, four
  great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Peterson, Pittsburgh; and two
  brothers, Francis Bittner, Berlin RD 3; and James Bittner of Arizona.
    She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Berlin.
    Funeral service was held Monday afternoon in Johnson and Son Funeral
  Home, Berlin, with Rev. George E. Bucchner officiating.  Interment in
  Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
