  BENDER
  
    Mrs. Helen Bender, 51, native of Pittsburgh, died in a plane crash Nov.
  7, 1977 in Emmitsburg, Md.  She is survived by five children:  Holliday
  Sontheimer, Gettysburg; Allison McIlhenny, Gettysburg; Charles E. Giles,
  Jr., Gettysburg; Jeremiah B. Giles, Gettysburg; and Jonathan Giles,
  Gettysburg.  Mrs. Bender had three grandchildren and two brothers: David W.
  Allison, Clearwater, Fla.; and J. Thomas Allison, Media.  Memorial services
  will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Christ Chapel, Gettysburg College,
  Gettysburg.
