  BENDER
  
  Mrs. Louise J. Bender, 76, Meyersdale, died Feb. 25, 1986, at her home. 
  Born Sept. 20, 1909, in Salisbury, daughter of the late Robert H. and
  Caroline (Smith) Johnston.  Also preceded in death by a brother, Robert
  S.  Survived by her husband, H.G. ("Hike") Bender; and a son, Dr. Thomas R.
  Bender, Honolulu, Hawaii; and a daughter, Mrs. Kathryn B. Lindeman,
  Arlington, Va.; a grandson, Thomas R. Jr., Anchorage, Alaska; and a sister,
  Miss Elizabeth Johnston, Pittsburgh.  Member of Zion Lutheran Church of
  Meyersdale.  Former employee of G.C. Murphy Company.  Served as office
  manager for the Meyersdale Municipal Authority until Oct. 1, 1974.  Friends
  will be received at the Leckemby Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Wednesday, where
  services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Lloyd Wilson
  officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.  Expressions of sympathy may
  be made to the memorial fund of Zion Lutheran Church.

  Services for Mrs. Louise J. Bender, 76, Meyersdale, will be held Thursday

  officiating.  Interment, Salisbury Cemetery.  She is survived by her
  husband, H.G. ("Hike") Bender; a son, Dr. Thomas R. Bender, Honolulu,
  Hawaii, a daughter, Mrs. Kathryn B. Lindeman, Arlington, Va.; a grandson,
