  Rae K. Bender, 80, Painesville, Ohio, died June 23, 1984, at Homestead II
  Convalescent Home, Painesville.  Born Feb. 14, 1904, in Berlin, daughter of
  Henry C. and Essie (Brant) Sivits.  Preceded in death by parents; brother,
  Richard Sivits; and sister, Evelyn Watkins.  Survived by husband, Clyde;
  son, John C., married to former Judy Eisler, Chardon, Ohio; also two
  grandchildren, Kelly and Mark.  Sister of:  Mrs. Esther Cassidy, Humble,
  Texas; Mrs. Ferne Dickey and Mrs. Bernice Walker, both of Berlin.  Attended
  Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Kent State University.  Taught school
  in Somerset County and Painesville, Ohio.  Member of Retired Teachers
  Association and Painesville Methodist Church, where she taught Sunday
  school and was active in church organizations.  Friends will be received
  from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin.  Graveside
  service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery, the Rev. Ralph E.
  Mills officiating.
