  MISS RHODA BENDER
  
    Miss Rhoda Bender, 75, of Springs, passed away at her home Dec. 27,
  1972.  Born in Springs, June 4, 1897, she was a daughter of the late Fred
  W. and Melinda (Miller) Bender.
    Surviving are two brothers, H. G. Bender, Meyersdale, and George W.
  Bender, Somerset; and one sister, Mrs. Lucretia Maust, of Springs.
    She was a member of the General Conference Mennonite Church, Meyersdale
  Community Hospital Auxiliary and was a music teacher for many years.
    Funeral service was held Friday morning in Newman Funeral Home,
  Grantsville, with the Rev. Daniel Whitacre and Rev. John H. Kraybill
  officiating.  Interment in Springs Cemetery.
