  BENDER
  
  Ruth M. Bender, 93, Fort Hill RD 1, died July 29, 1986, in the Spear
  Convalescent Home, Markleysburg.  Born May 5, 1893, in Altoona, a daughter
  of Frank and Naomi (Richardson) Anderson.  Preceded in death by husband,
  Lloyd; three brothers and four sisters.  Survived by three daughters: 
  Louise Matthews, Confluence; Helen Leydig and Jean Becket, both of Fort
  Hill RD 1; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.  She was a long-time
  member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church.  Friends will be received at the
  Humbert Funeral Home in Confluence from 10 a.m.-9 p.m. Thursday and until 1
  p.m. Friday, the time of the service with the Rev. Charles L. Lady
  officiating.  Interment, St. Paul's Cemetery.
