  BENDER
  
  Ruth M. Bender, 71, Fort Hill RD 1, died Aug. 28, 1985, in Sacred Heart
  Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born March 28, 1914, in Grantsville, Md., a
  daughter of the late Howard and Laura (Deal) Foy.  Survived by her husband,
  Carl, and two sons:  Carl Jr., Addison; and Robert, Confluence; four
  grandchildren; a sister, Elizabeth Pullin, Addison RD 1; and a brother,
  Delbert Foy, Rock Hill, S.C.  Preceded in death by a brother, Paul. 
  Friends will be received 7-9 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m.
  Friday at the Humbert Funeral Home, Confluence, where funeral services will
  be held Saturday at 11 a.m., with the Rev. David Bomboy officiating. 
  Interment, Addison Cemetery.
