  RYAN SCOTT BENDER
  
    Ryan Scott Bender, six-year-old son of L. Roy and Connie (Kreider)
  Bender, Pinto Road, Pinto, Md., died Tuesday, June 26, 1990 in the
  University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville, Va.  He had been ill
  since birth.
    Born Jan. 20, 1984 in Moundridge, Kansas, Ryan attended the Pinto
  Mennonite Church.  He was a student at the Cash Valley Elementary School.
    Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother, Darren Lynn Bender,
  at home; his maternal grandparents, John and Betty (Book) Kreider,
  Lancaster; his maternal great-grandparents, Harold and Cora (Hershey) Book,
  Ronks; his paternal grandparents, Paul and Leona (Miller) Bender,
  Belleville; and his paternal great-grandmother, Viola (Wiley) Miller,
  Grantsville, MD.
    Friends were received at the Hafer Chapel of the Hills Mortuary, LaVale,
  MD.  Interment, Springs Mennonite Cemetery.
    A memorial service was conducted Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Pinto
  Mennonite Church.
