  THELMA A. BENDER
  
    Thelma Arlene Bender, 49, died March 31, 1981 in Mercy Hospital,
  Baltimore, Md.
    She was born in Springs, she was a daughter of Norman and Beulah (Yoder)
  Bender, Grantsville RD 1.
    She was a member of Maranatha Assembly of God, Sunday School teacher and
  supervisor of the junior church department, and was employed by Yoder's
  Locker Plant.
    Besides her parents, she is survived by three brothers, Raymond Bender,
  Oren Bender and Carl Bender, all of Accident, Md.; six sisters, Mrs. Viola
  Orendorf and Mrs. Eva Jean Maust, both of Accident, Md.; Mrs. Erma Miller,
  Irwin, Ohio; Mrs. Doris Yoder and Mrs. Jane Moser, both of Grantsville,
  Md.; and Miriam Yoder, Meyersdale.
    Friends were received at the Newman Funeral Home.
    Services were conducted in the Maranatha Church with the Rev. William
  Ferguson and the Rev. Paul H. Yoder officiating.  Interment will be in
  Cherry Glade Cemetery, Accident.
    The family requests expressions of sympathy take the form of memorials to
  the Maranatha Junior Church Department.
