    Gerard Joseph Benedict, 31, Somerset, died Feb. 17, 1990, at Memorial
  Hospital, Johnstown.  Born July 23, 1958, in Latrobe.  Son of Joseph Sr.
  and late Rose (Prah) Benedict.  Survived by wife, Kathy (Miller) Benedict;
  two sons, Jason and Tony, Listie, and these brothers and sisters:  David
  and Joseph Jr., Somerset; Terry, Somerset RD 7; Debra Barnett, Lakeland,
  Fla.; Darlene Bauer, Somerset, and Sandy Walker, Somerset RD 2.  Friends
  will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Robert H. Halverson
  Funeral Home, where funeral services will be conducted at 1:3 p.m.
  Wednesday, Msgr. Samuel Tomaselli officiating.  Interment, Husband Cemetery.
