  MRS. GEORGE BENFORD
  
    Mrs. Anna Benford, 86, Meyersdale, died May 11, 1973, in Meyersdale
  Community Hospital.  Born Jan. 15, 1887, on Meyersdale RD 4, she was a
  daughter of the late Andrew and Barbara (Yutzy) Beal.  She was preceded in
  death by her husband, George Benford.
    Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Grace Bittner, Meyersdale; a niece, Mrs.
  Samuel Hoke, who made her home with Mrs. Benford, and a number of other
  nieces and nephews.
    She was a member of Zion Ev. Lutheran Church of Meyersdale.
    Funeral service was held Monday afternoon in Price Funeral Home,
  Meyersdale, with Rev. Harold Appel and Rev. Robert Burns officiating.
  Interment in Union Cemetery, Meyersdale.
