  BENFORD
  
    Gladys I. (Weimer) Benford, 84, of Rockwood, died March 25, 1998 at
  Meyersdale Medical Center.  Born July 17, 1913 in Black Township.  Daughter
  of the late William Harrison and Ida Ellen (Hoover) Weimer.  Preceded in
  death by husband Eugene Calvin Benford in 1985, an infant son; brothers:
  Charles Franklin, Ernest George, Clarence Clinton, Ralph Frederick, Harry
  Earl, Russell Albert, Oscar Eugene and Kenneth William Weimer and sister,
  Evelyn Etta Snyder.  Survived by these children:  John, married to Shirley
  (Knox) Benford of Rockwood; Mrs. Eugene (Judy) Yachere, Rockwood; Alicia
  Beal, Somerset; and Jack Benford of Rockwood.  Also survived by 11
  grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.  Member for over 50 years of the
  Somerset congregation of the Jehovah's Witnesses.  Memorial service will be
  conducted at a later date.  Arrangements under the direction of Wilbur D.
  Miller Funeral Home, Rockwood.
