    N. Joyce B. (Rodgers) Benford, 67, of Eugene St., Johnstown, died June
  13, 2000 at the Laurel Wood Speciality Care, Westmont.  Born Dec. 31, 1932
  in Johnstown, daughter of Clyde H. and Margaret (Wiseman) Rodgers. 
  Preceded in death by parents and granddaughter, Diana Gallucci.  Survived
  by beloved family, husband, Harold E. Jr., "Gene"; children:  Jayne, wife
  of David Ginter, Jennerstown; Jerry E., married to Kathy Randolph, Everett;
  and Joleen G., wife of Ralph Gallucci, Johnstown; grandchildren, Chad
  Ginter, Amy (Ginter), wife of Christopher Kimmell and Gina and Kristina
  Gallucci and brothers, The Rev. Dr. John A. Rodgers and wife, Dawn. Holder,
  Fla.; James A. Rodgers and wife, Holly, Chambersburg.  Charter member of Mt.
  Calvary Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1000 Scalp Ave., Richland, since its
  founding in 1945, where she had served as director of the Altar Guild and
  helped raise matching funds for the Lutheran Seminary, Gettysburg.  1953
  graduate of the Conemaugh School of Nursing and a retired registered nurse
  from Conemaugh Valley Memorial Hospital.  No viewing or visitation. 
  Following cremation, family and friends are invited to a memorial service
  at 11 a.m. Friday at the Mt. Calvary Church, the Rev. Ronald B. Reed
  officiating.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the American
  Diabetes Association, the American Cancer Society or Mt. Calvary Church.
