  BENFORD
  
    Robert E. Benford, 43, Rockwood RD 2, died as a result of injuries
  received in an accident at RD 6 Somerset, Jan. 11, 1993.  Born Dec. 12,
  1949, in Rockwood.  Son of the late Harold D. and Margaret E. (Marker)
  Benford.  Preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Sheldon and
  Ray.  Survived by his wife of 25 years, the former Ann Walker; a daughter,
  Mrs. Jeff (Lisa) Bowman, RD 2 Rockwood, and a son, Eric Benford of RD 2,
  Rockwood; two grandsons, Matthew and Colt.  Brother of Mrs. Leonard (Doris)
  Miller, North Canton, Ohio; Mrs. Charles (Jennie) Gary, RD 1, Rockwod; Mrs.
  George (Elsie) King, Rockwood; Mrs. Orlin (Carol) Barron, RD 2, Rockwood;
  Harold Benford Jr. RD 3 Rockwood; Delbert Benford, Friedens; Mrs. Ronald
  (Sharon) Dunmyer, Elliottsburg, Pa.  Member of Messiah Lutheran Church, New
  Centerville.  Employed by Svonavec, Inc., Somerset.  Friends will be
  received from 7-9 p.m. today and until 1 p.m. Wednesday at Wilbur D. Miller
  Funeral Home, when his remains will be removed to Messiah Lutheran Church,
  New Centerville for funeral service at 2 p.m.   There will be no viewing of
  remains at the church.  Pastor Melvin A. Kirk Jr. and Pastor Gregory R. Pile
  officiating.  Interment in Somerset County Memorial Park.
