    Frances Benko, 76, Friedens, died April 4, 1989, at Somerset Hospital.
  Born Sept. 19, 1912, in Ludlow, Mass., daughter of Frank Tenerowicz and
  Victoria (Moskal) Tenerowicz Rypczyk.  Preceded in death by parents,
  stepfather, Andrew Rypczyk, brothers, Peter and Victor.  Survived by her
  husband of 58 years, Frank Benko; and daughter, Mrs. Virgil (June)
  Berkebile, Friedens.  Sister of:  Matthew Rypczyk, married to the former
  Helen Dorin, Ruffsdale; Mary Davis, New Kensington; Frank Rypczyk, married
  to Margaret Vilga and Mrs. John (Patricia) Pongrac, both of Central City;
  and Mrs. Wadsworth (Helen) Karr, Allenton, Fla.  Retired from Somerset
  Shirt and Pajama Factory after 27 years.  Member of St. Peters Catholic
  Church, Somerset, where Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 a.m.
  Friday, with Monsignor Samuel J. Tomaselli officiating.  Family will
  receive friends from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday
  at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where wake service will be held at 8:45
  p.m. Thursday.  Interment, Somerset County Memorial Park.
