Bennett, 73, Box 38, Strongstown, died Feb. 2, 1989, at Scenery Hill Manor, Indiana. She was born Nov. 30, 1915, in Penn Run, daughter of the late D. Clair and Mayme (Shrecengost) Cramer. She was preceded in death by brothers, Wilmer and David, and sister, Thelma Holby. She is survived by husband, Harry F., and these sons: Dee F., married to the former Charlotte Szelazek, Armagh; W. Gene, Redondo Beach, Calif.; and Harry L, married to former Karen Hack, Johnstown; also grandchildren: Janice, Beth, Deeann, Jennifer and Douglas. She was a sister of Mildred Hixon, Port Rickey, Fla., and Vera Shultz, Berlin. She was a former employee of Joann Dress Factory, Ebensburg; owner and operator of Bennett's Service Station; lifetime member of Strongstown United Methodist Church, where she belonged to church choir and ladies auxiliary. Friends were received at Harry R. Ondriezek II Funeral Home, Nanty Glo. Funeral service was at 11 a.m. Monday at Strongstown United Methodist Church, the Rev. Clayton Harriger officiating.
