Born Jan. 22, 1896, in the state of Indiana, daughter of the late Oliver E. and Ida A. (Carter) John. Preceded in death by her husband, Clyde H. Bennett in 1967; a son, Clyde; a daughter, Queen Esther May; and sisters: Ethel John and Lela Laughner, and brother, Daniel C. John. Survived by a daughter, Helen Barton of Somerset; grandson, Gary Barton of Berlin; granddaughter, Lynda McDevitt of Albuquerque, N.M. and great-grandsons: Wade and Adam Barton; great-granddaughters: Jennifer and Victoria McDevitt and a sister, Rachel McDevitt of Wheeling, W.Va. A life member of the Eastern Star, McKeesport. Member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church, McKeesport. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. (today) Tuesday at the Wilbur D.
