  BENNING
  
    B. Marie Benning, 74, Rockwood, died Jan. 15, 2001 at her residence. 
  Born Dec. 21, 1926, in Hyndman, Bedford County, daughter of Andrew and
  Ethel (Clites) Mull.  Preceded in death by parents, son Richard G. Benning,
  two grandsons and sister, Mabel Mull.  Survived by husband, Merle Eugene
  Benning, to whom she was married 56 years, and these children: Ernest E.
  Benning, married to the former Linda Close, Somerset; Donald L. Benning,
  married to the former Jan Sible, Stoystown; Darlene F. Maule and special
  friend Bill Basinger, Rockwood; William A. Benning, married to the former
  Sandy Lake, Garrett; Earl C. Benning, married to the former Gayle Berkley,
  St. Paul; Gary D. Benning, Rockwood; Mrs. Charles (Bertha) Watson,
  Somerset; also 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mrs.
  Myrtle Bittinger, Cumberland, Md., Mrs. Donald (Mary) Wakefoose, Bedford,
  Mrs. Mildred Tiana, Cleveland, Ohio, George Resh, Nashville, Tenn., and
  Reuben Lafferty, New Paris.  Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.
  Wednesday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home, Somerset, where service will
  be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday, Rev. Don R. Judy officiating.  Interment,
  Mt. Zion Cemetery, Allegheny Township.  Contributions may be made to
  Somerset "In Touch" Hospice, 1590 N. Center Ave., Suite 111, Somerset, Pa.,
  15501, or the American Cancer Society, 168 W. Union St., Somerset, Pa.,
