  BENNING
  
    George Ross Benning, 99, Berlin, died March 19, 1994 at Maple Mountain
  Manor.  Born Sept. 9, 1894 in Bedford County, son of Adam and Sarah (Ohler)
  Benning.  Preceded in death by parents; wife, the former Rae Harmon;
  brothers, Harry, William, Morris and John; sisters, Ardella Saylor, Mary
  Fisher, Annie Siefert, Irene Smith, Elsie Harris and Emmy Barnhart. 
  Survived by daughters, Marie Newman, Friedens RD 2, and Mrs. Lloyd (Evelyn)
  Lehman, Silver Springs, Md.; grandchildren: Leon and Wayne Lehman, Roger and
  George Newman, also 5 great-grandchildren.  Brother of Jenny Saylor,
  Berlin.  Retired Allegheny Township farmer, World War I Army veteran,
  having served in the A.E.F. in France.  Family will receive friends from
  2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Monday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where service will
  be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday.  Rev. C.J. Ickes.  Interment, Sarver Cemetery.
