  Barbara Violet Benny, 66, Ingleside, Texas, formerly of Hooversville, died May
  19, 2005, after a short illness. Born Jan. 23, 1939, a daughter of Margaret
  Benny and the late Joseph Benny Sr. Also preceded in death by brother, Joseph
  Benny II; brothers-in-law Frank Mayak and Paul Johnson. Survived by mother;
  sisters, Shirley Mayak, Stoystown, and Dorothy Johnson, New Orleans; brother
  Richard Benny, married to the former Judith Murphy, Somerset; children: Trudy
  O'Donnell, married to Michael, Dover, NJ; Valerie Griffin, Dover, Del.; Randall
  Gavlak and his fiancˇe Patch Millennium, Engleside, Texas; grandchildren:
  Timothy, Melissa, Samanpha Griffin and Dylan John O'Donnell; numerous nieces
  and nephews. Also survived by former husbands, John Gavlak Jr. and William
  Coranato Sr. Barbara was owner and designer of a commercial fishing boat in
  Ingleside, Texas. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where a service will be held 11
  a.m. Friday. The Rev. Gerald Myers officiating. Interment St. Thomas Lutheran
  Cemetery.
