  BENT
  
    Sara J. Bent, 65, of Davidsville died June 14, 2000 in Johnstown.  Born
  Feb. 9, 1935 in Somerset.  Daughter of Smith and Verda Mae (Adams)
  Harkcom.  Preceded in death by father, husband Jay Bent, sisters Thelma
  Fischer, Jean Kline and brother Fred.  Survived by mother of Berlin,
  daughters Beverly Hauger of Windber, Diane wife of Dave Tercek, Johnstown,
  two grandsons Adam and Sean.  She was a sister of Evelyn Platt, Berlin,
  James Harkcom of Ohio and Wayne Harkcom, Somerset.  She was a co-owner and
  operator of Davidsville Economy Store for 18 years.  Family receiving
  friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at George E. Mason Funeral Home,
  Inc. Davidsville where service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Rev.
  Sherman Berkey.  Interment, Walker Cemetery, Shanksville.  Those who wish
  please make donations to Windber Hospice.
