    Eva L. Bentz, 84, Orbisonia, formerly of Stoystown RD 2, died Oct. 13,
  1993, at Woodland Retirement Center, Orbisonia.  Born Oct. 27, 1908, in
  Quemahoning Township, daughter of Webster and Sadie (Syres) Barron. 
  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Homer E., and son, James E. 
  Survived by these children:  Mrs. Harvey (Janet) Snowberger and Charles,
  married to the former Ruth Miller, both of Needmore; daughter-in-law,
  Shelvy Bentz, Baden; nine grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one
  great-great-grandson.  Sister of Olive Long and Mildred Shoff, both of
  Somerset; Fern Brant, Berlin; Jacob Barron, Stoystown; Betty Shaulis,
  Rochester, Pa., and Robert Barron, New Brighton.  Member of the Kanter
  Assembly of God.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Friday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held
  at 11 a.m. Saturday, with her nephew, Gary Bentz, officiating.  Interment,
  Lambertsville Cemetery.
