  Homer E. Bentz, 68, Stoystown RD 2 died May 12, 1977, in Fulton Co. Medical
  Center, McConnellsburg.  Born Jan. 25, 1909 in Shade Twp. son of Ralph and
  Lottie Lohr Bentz.  Preceded in death by parents, infant son and two
  brothers, Clarence and Joseph Paul.  Survived by widow, the former Eva
  Barron and these children:  Mrs. Hillis (Janet) Mellott and Charles, both
  of Needmore; and James, Baden RD 1; nine grandchildren and five
  great-grandchildren.  Brother of Mrs. Ray (Ethel) Bruening, Stoystown RD 3;
  Mrs. Robert (Margaret) Evine, Shanksville; Mrs. John (Annabelle) Patsy,
  Flint, Mich.; Kenneth, Berlin; Rayford, Raitan [sic], N.J.  Retired coal
  miner and PennDOT employe.  Family will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9
  p.m. Friday in Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown where services will be
  conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday, Rev. Donald E. Berkey officiating. 
  Interment, Lambertsville Cemetery.
