  MARY E. BENTZ
  
    Mary E. Bentz, 73, of Berlin, formerly of Stoystown, died April 28, 1981,
  at Maple Mountain Manor, Berlin.
    She was born June 5, 1907, in Johnstown, daughter of William H. and Mary
  E. (Sloan) Stahl.
    She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Clarence; and brother,
  Charles.  She is survived by these children:  Mrs. Betty Gour, Flat Rock,
  Mich.; John, married to Donna Swope, Sterling Heights, Mich.; George,
  Burgettstown; Earl, married to Mona Paul, Somerset; and nine grandchildren.
    She was a sister of:  Mrs. Ruth Pender, Johnstown; James, Levittown; and
  John, Wyandotte, Mich.  She was a member of Kantner United Methodist Church.
    Friends were received at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where
  services were conducted with the Rev. J. Wesley Spahn.  Interment,
  Grandview Cemetery, Johnstown.
