  Mrs. Mary Mae Bentz, 77, Somerset RD 1, died May 27, 1984, in Somerset
  Community Hospital.  Born May 12, 1907, in Johnstown, daughter of the late
  Charles and Elizabeth (Zipf) Beam.  Preceded in death by husband, Joseph
  D.; and two brothers. Survived by these children:  Robert and Jerry, both
  of Dayton, Va.; Mrs. Fred (Joan) Costea, Somerset RD 3; Terry and Thomas,
  both of Smyrna, Del.; 16 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.  Sister
  of:  Roy, Bedford; Mrs. Catherine Rose, Johnstown; Mrs. Gertrude Dull, Mrs.
  Allen (Ione) Hile, and Mrs. Lewis (Charlotte) Thompson, all of Alexandria,
  Va.  Member of Somerset Church of the Brethren.  Friends will be received
  from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday (today) and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at the Richard
  E. Hauger Funeral Home, where services will be conducted Thursday at 10
  a.m., with the Rev. Roger Forry officiating.  Interment, Richland Cemetery.
