    Shelvy W. Bentz, 63, of Baden, a native of Garrett, died Nov. 17, 1999,
  at home.  Born June 6, 1936, in Garrett, daughter of Ernest and Pearl
  (Sechler) Weyant.  Preceded in death by parents, husband James E., sister
  Mildred Brant and brother Ernest Weyant Jr.  Survived by sons James A. of
  Falling Waters, W.Va., and Randy L. of New Brighton; grandsons Lonny A.,
  Lance R. and Christopher L. Bentz; and great-granddaughters Justice and
  Marissa.  Sister of Elwood Weyant of Sharon, Pauline Blubaugh of Berlin,
  Floyd Weyant of Meyersdale, Judy Clements of Orlando, Fla., and Faith DeVoe
  and Roger Weyant, both of Berlin.  Also many loving nieces, nephews and
  camping friends.  Member of Economy United Methodist Church.  Along with
  her husband, she served as a campground hostess for Laurel Hill State Park
  for many years.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
  Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin, where a service will be held 11
  a.m. Friday.  Rev. Gerald E. Deffenbaugh.  Interment, Highland Cemetery,
  Garrett.  Memorial contributions may be given to the American Cancer
  Society.
