(Revak) Beri, 75, Stonycreek Street, Boswell, was suddenly taken to be with her Lord, May 10, 2004, at Somerset Hospital. Born Dec. 10, 1928, in Harrison, Somerset County, daughter of John and Veronica (Soltiz) Revak. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Frank Beri Jr., Jan. 18, 1980; brothers, Michael and John Revak and sisters Marie McAndrews and Elizabeth Breaner; and two infant sisters. Loving mother of Veronica (Revak) married to Mark Badaczewski, Jerome, Michael Revak, married to former Adriane Rivera, Boswell, and Angela (Beri) married to Edwin Vogel Jr., Meyersdale. She adored her grandchildren: Heather (Miller) married to Tim Hogue, Marshburg, Pa., Beth (Miller) married to Seth Bryant, Jerome; Adam Badaczewski, Jerome, Tyler and Tanner Revak, Boswell and Eddie, Travis, Ronnie and Leanne Vogel, Meyersdale. She also adored her great-grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan and Alexis Hogue and Katelynn, Sierra and Jordan Bryant. Also survived by sisters, Sue Ioria, Cleveland, Ohio, Margaret Karla, Boswell, and Annie, married to Larry Funk, Ohio; special sister-in-law Sue, of Ohio and many close family and friends. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Parish. Former social member of the Boswell Volunteer Fire Department. Helen had a big heart that did not want to stop and was known as "Grandma Beri" to many of the children of her family and friends and was a special "grandma" to Brennan and Eli Brougher. She enjoyed collecting angels and was an avid cook and baker, known for her pigs in the blanket and pierogis and sharing her famous "Grandma Beri" cookies with her grandchildren, their classmates, Veronica's Day Care kids and all of her friends. Friends received 2 to 4 and 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the Hoffman Funeral Home, Main Street, Boswell, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Thursday at All Saints Church, Boswell. The Rev. Father Mark Curesky, OFM Conv., celebrant. Committal, St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Boswell.
