  CUSTER-BERKEBILE
  
  Alverda G. Custer-Berkebile, 75, of Stoystown, died June 12, 1984, at
  Somerset Community Hospital.  She was born March 13, 1909, in Somerset
  County, daughter of Cyrus and Hattie (Landis) Shultz.  Preceded in death by
  her parents; brothers, Clarence and Harry; sisters, Anna Ryman and Ruth
  Hoover; and three grandchildren.  She is survived by these children:  Mrs.
  Eleanor Maust, Friedens RD 2; Melvin Custer, married to Ruth Maust,
  Friedens RD 1; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  She was
  the sister of:  Miss Nora of Versailles, Ky.; Leroy of Somerset; and Mrs.
  Gerald (Maude) Donahue of Stoystown RD 1.  She was retired from So-Neet
  Manufacturing Co.  She was a member of Geiger Church of the Brethren. 
  Family will receive friends from 7 9 p.m. Wednesday, 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
  Thursday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where services will be held at
  11 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Gerald E. Deffenbaugh officiating.  Interment,
  Somerset County Memorial Park.
