Born Nov. 15, 1897, in Champion, daughter of the late William, and Malinda Shaulis Reese. Preceded in death by husband, Rev. Walter F. Berkebile, who died Jan. 7, 1967, and was pastor of the Middlecreek and Rockwood Church of the Brethren congregations for nearly 40 years. An infant son, Walter F., two brothers, and a sister. Survived by one son, Dr. Paul E. Berkebile of Pittsburgh; a foster daughter, Daisybelle Boitnott of Rockwood RD 2; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces, and nephews. A sister of Mrs. Etta Dilling of Anderson, Ind. Member of Rockwood Church of the Brethren, a life long W.C.T.U. member. Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Wilbur D. Miller Funeral Home. Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 11 a.m. at the Rockwood Church of the Brethren. Rev. Jay Christner, and Rev. Herb Schimpf officiating. Interment, Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
