  Donald E. Berkebile, 49, 81 Fifth St., Acosta, died unexpectedly Aug. 19,
  1989 at Somerset Hospital.  Born Jan. 2, 1940 in Somerset.  Son of Rush and
  Virginia (Greely) Berkebile.  survived by parents, Jenners; Wife, Selba
  (Jean) Harvey; these children:  Donald L. married to the former Brenda
  Evans of Jennerstown; Scott A. of East Palestine, Ohio and Lisa A. at
  home.  Grandchildren Mindy and Benjamin.  Brother of Constance Lou, wife of
  Ronald Croyle of Painesville, Ohio; Wanita, wife of Robert Garrety of
  Jenners; Westley, married to the former Susan Truscott of Boswell and
  Timmy, married to Sandra Dedik of Jenners.  Also mother and father in-law
  Huey and Madeline Harvey of Acosta.  Member of Jenner Rod and Gun Club,
  Teamsters 110 Ebensburg and VFW Holsopple 8861, 1957 graduate of the former
  J.B.J. Joint High School, Boswell.  Served six years in U.S. navy.  Employed
  by Ray Paul Trucking Stoystown and Scottyland, Rockwood RD 2.  
  Friends were received Sunday evening and will be received 2 to 4 and 7 to 9
  p.m. Monday at Hoffman Funeral Home Allegheny Street, Boswell.  Service at
  11 a.m.  Tuesday at the Acosta Church of God where viewing will also be
  held from 10 a.m. until time of service.  Pastors Charles L. McCollum and
  Samuel E. Charlton.  Interment Jenner Cross Roads Cemetery.  Grave side
  military rights by Menoher Post 155 VFW.
