  MRS. FREEMAN BERKEBILE
  
    Mrs. Edythe Berkebile, 72, of Berlin RD 1, died Feb. 28, 1975, in
  Somerset Community Hospital.  Born Oct. 15, 1902, in Hooversville, she was
  a daughter of John and Carmie (Fyock) Helman.  She was preceded in death by
  her parents; a daughter, Carmie; and a brother, Charles.
    Surviving are her husband, Freeman "Dick" Berkebile; and these
  children:  Leroy, Palatine, Ill.; Mrs. (Dorothy) Yoder, Stoystown RD 2; M.
  John, of Huntsville, Ala.; David E. of Somerset; Mrs. Nevin (Diane) Deist
  of Berlin RD 1; also 19 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a
  brother, Henry, Stoystown RD 2.
    Mrs. Berkebile was a member of United Methodist Church.
    Funeral service was conducted Monday morning in Charles R. Deaner Funeral
  Home, Stoystown, with Rev. Marlin A. Miller officiating.  Interment in IOOF
  Cemetery, Stoystown.
