  BERKEBILE
  
    Elinor J. Berkebile, 79, Hooversville, died March 2, 2002, at Laurelwood
  Care Center.  Born Jan. 7, 1923 in Hooversville, daughter of Albert and
  Kathryn (Boyer) Berkebile.  Preceded in death by parents, brother, Neil and
  sister Lorraine Chisholm.  Survived by a sister, Doris Hostetler of
  Hooversville; nieces, Lorraine "Cookie" Cepek and Heidi, married to Tom
  Koppenhofer, both of Hooversville; nephew, Burnell Hostetler of Indiana,
  Pa.; great-nephew, Jody Schafer; and beloved great-niece, Emily
  Koppenhofer.  Graduate of Hooversville High School.  Retired Ladies Garment
  Worker. Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville, Trinity Breakfast
  club and Hooversville Historical Society.  No viewing or visitation.  A
  memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran
  Church, Hooversville.  Rev. Gerald L. Myers officiating.  Interment, P.O.S.
  of A. Cemetery.  Hooversville, at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of
  flowers, contributions may be given to Trinity Kitchen Fund, c/o Doris
  Hostetler, P.O. Box 422, Hooversville, Pa., 15936.  Arrangements by Deaner
  Funeral  Home, Hooversville.
