  BERKEBILE
  
  Mrs. Freda E. Berkebile, 84, of Stoystown, died June 6 in Youngstown,
  Ohio.  Born Oct. 27, 1889, in Somerset County, daughter of Joseph and
  Christine Lohr Eash.  Preceded in death by parents, husband, John A., two
  sons, Robert and George, one daughter, Frances, one grandson, Irvin
  Berkebile, Jr., two brothers and three sisters.  Survived by the following
  children:  Mrs. Robert (Ethel) Fennell, Mrs. Richard (Betty) Ellis, Mrs.
  Michael (Arlene) Tkach, Mrs. Dolores Zolla, and John, all of Youngstown;
  Irvin, Sr., of Kantner, and Willard, of Stoystown RD 2; 15 grandchildren,
  16 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.  Was a member of
  Kantner United Methodist Church.  Family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m.
  Saturday and 2-4 and 7-9 Sunday and until noon Monday at Charles R. Deaner
  Funeral Home, Stoystown.  Remains will be removed to Kantner United
  Methodist Church to lie in state from 1 p.m. until services at 2 p.m.
  Monday, Rev. J.R. Peterson officiating.  Interment Otterbein Cemetery.
