Born Oct. 16, 1937, at Stoystown. Formerly of Mechanicsville, Md. (Calvert County.) Preceded in death by parents, Lewis Frederick and Beulah Eliza (Hemminger) Berkebile, and brother, Morris Berkebile. Survived by wife, Joyce C. (Conklin) Berkebile, and daughter, Crystal Annette Sullivan, both of Lusby; sons: Keith Frederick Berkebile, Virginia Beach, Va., David Robert Berkebile, Laurel, Md.; sisters, Gleneve Hann, Friedens, and Alice Winner, Cumberland-Frostburg, Md,; brother, Virgil Berkebile, Friedens; grandsons, Ryan Joseph Sullivan, Sean Patrick Sullivan, Lusby; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Jennet Berkebile, Virginia Beach; son-in-law, Joseph Anthony Sullivan, Lusby. Member of Hughesville (Md.) Baptist Church. Belonged to the Federal Police Officer K-9 Unit; D.C. Metropolitan Police Dept. and U.S. Secret Service Uniform Division. Air Force veteran. Employed as a federal police officer for federal government. Visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Huntt Funeral Home Inc., Waldorf, Md.
