Born May 17, 1934, in Hooversville. Son of late Merdith Warren and Margaret Estelle (Hause) Berkebile. Also preceded in death by half brother, Jack Hause. Survived by wife, the former Mildred Elva Fodder, to whom he was married 44 years, and these children: Mrs. Frank R. (Carol) Pucci, Mrs. Wayne A. (Patricia) Walker, Galen W. Berkebile, married to the former Brenda Carmen, and Gerald W. Berkebile; married to the former Leora J. Rose, all of Somerset. Grandchildren: Frank W. Pucci, Jessica Pucci, Mrs. Kevin (Rebecca Walker) Royal, Valerie Walker, Kristy Walker, Dorsey M. Berkebile, Chelsy Ann Berkebile, Ben Cramer, Gerald R. Berkebile, Jennifer Berkebile and Gregory Berkebile. Brother of Mrs. Jack (Geraldine) Walsh of Lambertsville, Mrs. Walter (Margaret "Peg") Hutchison of Trenton N.J.; Mrs. Robert (Doris) Lang of Croydon, Mrs. Charles (Joyce) Matson of Columbus N.J.; Mrs. John (Charlaine) Gannon of Bethlehem, and Mark W. Berkebile of Croydon. Member of Heritage Baptist Church, Pa. Farmers Association. Self-employed farmer at Jerry-Mill Farms. Friends received 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday at the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Heritage Baptist Church, Somerset, with the Rev. Russell B. Kessler officiating. Viewing at the church from 10 a.m. until time of service.
