  MRS. JESSE BERKEBILE
  
    Mrs. Jessie B. Berkebile, 91, Hammond, Ind., formerly of Oak Ridge Drive,
  Johnstown, died May 22, 1979, in Hammond.  Born April 6, 1888, in Conemaugh,
  she was a daughter of James and Izora (Goughnour) Wilson.
    She was preceded in death by parents; husband, Dorsey; son, James; and
  eight brothers and a sister.
    She is survived by these children:  Olive, wife of Joseph Sullivan,
  Huntington, W. Va.; Velma, wife of Fred Santacrose, Johnstown; Merdith,
  married to former Margaret Hause, Granville, Pa.; Harold, married to former
  Catherine Kidner, Johnstown; Ila, wife of Marvin Hollowell, Chicago, Ill.;
  Dorsey Jr., married to former Dolores McFeathers, Toledo, Ohio; Wayne,
  married to former June Clemens, Hammond, Ind.; and Zola, wife of Robert
  Stiffler, Rockwood; also 26 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren and 12
  great-great grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Mrs. Jane Berkebile.
    She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren.  She was the
  last surviving members of family.
    Friends were received at the Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary, Inc. 
  Service was conducted at Walnut Grove Church of the Brethren, with the Rev.
  Wendell C. Bohrer, officiating.  Interment, Richland Cemetery.
