  BERKEBILE
  
    Josephine Berkebile, 85, of Hooversville, died Sept. 2, 1995, at Somerset
  Hospital.  Born June 7, 1910, in Hooversville, daughter of Wallace N. and
  Mary (Boyer) Berkebile.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Kenneth P.,
  and sister, Verdean Berkebile.  Survived by these children:  DeWayne married
  to the former Dolores McKenna of Hooversville; Wallace married to the former
  Barbara Paul of Stoystown RD 2; Terry, married to the former Luella Walker
  of Stoystown; Gene of Hooversville, and Mrs. David (Denise) Laugerman of
  York; 12 Grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren.  Sister of Jane Drenner
  of Mount Joy.  Member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Hooversville.  Family
  will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. (today) Tuesday at Deaner
  Funeral Home, Hooversville, where service will be held at 11 a.m.
  Wednesday, Rev. Gerald L. Myers.  Interment, POS of A Cemetery,
  Hooversville.  Memorial contributions may be given to Trinity Lutheran
  church, Hooversville.
