    Mary Grace Berkebile, 81, Rockwood died Oct. 31, 1997, at her
  residence.  Born Aug. 18, 1916, in Somerset.  Daughter of Homer A. and
  Lottie B. (Shaver) Shumaker.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Albert
  C. "Turk" Berkebile, who died Nov. 19, 1976, and sister, Thelma Dawson, who
  died in January 1985.  Survived by sister, Mrs. Charles (Julia S. ) Bull of
  Nescopeck, Pa.; nephews Richard D. Bull, Stroudsburg RD 4, and Charles Eddy
  Bull of St. Louis, Mo.; niece, Mrs. Kerry (Stephanie Dawson) Currier of
  Raleigh, N.D.; four great-nephews and a great-niece.  1934 graduate of
  Somerset High School.  Member of First Christian Church.  Charter member of
  Rockwood Women's club.  Also member of Trinity Chapter 138, O.E.S, and
  Forbes Road Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution.  No viewing or
  visitation.  Graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov.
  15, at Rockwood IOOF Cemetery, Rockwood, with Pastor Daniel F. Nicksich
  officiating.  Interment, Rockwood IOOF Cemetery.  Memorial contributions
  may be given to First Christian Church, 139 E. Main Street, Somerset, PA 
  15501 or Rockwood Historical Society, c/o Mrs. Grace Sanner, 3318 Markleton
  School Road, Rockwood, PA  15557.  Arrangements by Hauger-Zeigler Funeral

    Mary Grace Berkebile, Rockwood, 81, died at her residence.  Graveside
  memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, in the Rockwood
  IOOF Cemetery with Pastor Daniel F. Nicksich officiating.  Arrangements
  under the direction of the Hauger-Zeigler Funeral Home.
