  BERKEBILE
  
    Maurice V. Berkebile, 75, Central City RD 1, died July 4, 1990, at Maple
  Mountain Manor, Berlin.  He was born July 22, 1914, in Shade Township.  Son
  of Orie C. and Gertrude (Stull) Berkebile.  Preceded in death by parents, an
  infant daughter and brother, Harold.  Survived by his wife of 49 years, the
  former Irma Schrock; daughters, Nancy, wife of Robert Brant of Berlin, and
  Suzanne, wife of William Weaver, Stoystown.  Also survived by
  grandchildren, Stephanie and Dianna Brant and Alan and Ryan Weaver.  He was
  the brother of Donald, Hesperia, Calif.; Katherine Groff, St. Louis, Mo.,
  and Mrs. Harry (Theodosia) Brant, Berlin RD 1.  He was a retired carpenter
  and a World War II Army veteran.  Also a member of Kantner United Methodist
  Church.  Friends will be received from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at
  Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown; where services will be held at 11 a.m.
  Friday, the Rev. Ralph Landis officiating.  Interment, Glade Cemetery. 
  Memorials may be given to the Kantner United Methodist Building Fund.
