  Merdith W. Berkebile, 94, Samuels Road, Somerset, died Oct. 12, 2005, at home.
  Born Feb. 9, 1911, in Johnstown, son of Dorsey and Jessie (Wilson) Berkebile.
  Preceded in death by parents; first wife, the former Margaret Hause; sons, Jack
  O. Hause and Gerald W. Berkebile; brothers, James, Harold, Wayne and Dorsey Jr.;
  and sisters, Olive, Velma and Zola. Survived by his wife, the former Mary E.
  Monticue; children, Geraldine, married to John Walsh, Stoystown; Margaret
  Hutchinson, Hamilton Square; Doris Lang, Croydon; Joyce, married to Charles
  Matson, St. Marys, W.Va.; and twins, Mark Wayne, married to the former June
  Dyer, Croydon; and Charlaine married to John Gannon, Bethlehem;
  daughters-in-law, Mildred Fodder Berkebile, Somerset; and Audrey Baughman
  Hause, Florida; and stepchildren, Mary Kathrine Collins, Kansas; Roy Rogers
  Monticue, Meyersdale; and Floyd Eugene Monticue, Warren; 44 grandchildren; 104
  great-grandchildren; 25 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Ila Hollowel,
  Indiana. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral
  Home, 976 Barn St., Hooversville where service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday.
  The Rev. Larry Weigle officiating. Interment P.O.S. of A. Cemetery,
  Hooversville.
