  BERKEBILE
  
    Nettie Berkebile, 91, Laurelview Village, formerly of Blough, died Jan.
  21, 1999, at Laurelview Village.  Born Aug. 30, 1907, in Bedford County,
  daughter of John and Katherine (Fair) Housel.  Preceded in death by
  parents; husband, Harold; sons, Melvin and Kimmel.  Survived by these
  children, Reba, wife of Leonard Birtle, Fla.; Betty Inscho, Johnstown;
  Mervin, married to former Elsie Pennel, Johnstown; Imogene, wife of Maurice
  Bogia, Perryville, Md.; Donald, married to former Betty Lambert, Moonlight
  Park Road, Hollsopple; Ellis, married to former Beverly Weaver, Windber;
  Robert, married to former Joyce Cortesa, Lakeview Drive, Hollsopple; Gary,
  married to former Nancy Rush, Accident, Md.; and Dawna Berkebile, Whistler
  Road, Hooversville; also survived by daughter-in-law, former Donna
  (Watkins) Miller; widow of Kimmel Berkebile, Land Street, Hooversville. 
  Sister of Mary Smoker, McConnellsburg; and half brother, Ralph Housel,
  Buffalo Mills.  Also survived by 37 grandchildren; 63
  great-great-grandchildren.  Member of Sugar Grove Church of the Brethren,
  Blough.  Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday
  at George E. Mason Funeral Home Inc., Davidsville.  Service will be held at
  2 p.m. Sunday at Sugar Grove Church of the Brethren, where remains will lie
  in state from 1 p.m. until time of service, Brother Kermit Jones and the
  Rev. Elvin Holsopple.  Interment, St. Thomas Lutheran Cemetery.
