  BERKEBILE, Violet M.  04/02/07   Daily American
  
   Violet M. Berkebile, 90, Stoystown, died March 30, 2007, at Somerset Hospital. Born Dec.
  1, 1916, in Jennerstown, a daughter of Orie and M. Pearl (Hochard) Berkebile. Preceded in
  death by parents; husband, Clarence Marvin; sisters, Janet Valentine and Marguerite
  Shaulis. Survived by a daughter, Joan Stuart, Las Vegas, Nev.; granddaughter, Scarlett
  Stuart; great-granddaughters, Nicole Poyner and Alexandra Yokomizo; and
  great-great-grandson, Nicolas Poyner. She worked as a beautician for more than 50 years
  before retiring. During World War II, she was a policewoman in Ravenna, Ohio. Family will
  receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown,
  where service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday. The Rev. Don Kephart officiating.
  Interment, Odd Fellows Cemetery, Stoystown.
